Coral Poppies

This card was inspired by the Mojo Monday sketch:
I used Pleasant Poppies and Hi, There stamp sets.  I colored the poppies with ink and a blender pen.  The card stock colors I used were Calypso Coral, Pear Pizzazz, and Whisper White.

Mint Chocolate - Yum!

Today's card was made for two challenges:  Less is More and Sketch Saturday.  The Less is More challenge was to use a mint and a chocolate CHOCOLATE MINT color on a clean and simple card.  Here is the Sketch Saturday challenge:
I used Stampin' Up! products for this card.  The card stock is chocolate chip and pistachio pudding.  I used stamps from the Chalk Talk stamp set and cut them out with the matching framelits set and my large oval punch.  I used the Beautiful Wings embosslit to make the two small butterflies.  The entire focal image is on dimensionals, but you can't tell from the picture.
I think this would make a nice friendship or thank you card.

Hello in Bermuda Bay

I made this card for the CAS(E) this Sketch challenge.  I used Bermuda Bay and Whisper White for a monochromatic card.  I used the Flower Shop stamp set, and a retired stamp set for the "HELLO".  I used Bermuda Bay 1/8" taffeta ribbon, and the banner die from Label Card thinlits.  I used the argyle embossing folder and I used my brayer to ink over the design.

Blackberry Honey Crumb Cake

That title sounds like this will be about a delicious breakfast treat, but it is actually the colors in the Pals Paper Arts challenge for this week:  blackberry bliss, hello honey, and crumb cake.  I used products from Stampin' Up! including the Six Sided Sampler stamp set, the hexagon punch, and the bitty butterfly punch.  It is impossible to tell from the picture, but the whisper white layer is adhered by stampin' dimensionals, there is a hexagon punched out, and the "hello sweet friend" is adhered to the layer below.

Tuesday Morning Sketch 265

Another sketch challenge that I couldn't pass up.  Tuesday Morning Sketches gave a choice of three past sketches.

I guess you can tell which one I chose!  I used Petite Petals and Feel Goods from Stampin' Up!.  I used wild wasabi, melon mambo, basic gray, and naturals white card stock.

Two Card Challenges

I enjoy the inspiration provided by a card challenge.  It can be a sketch or it can be a color combination; it doesn't matter to me.
This card was inspired by Techno Stamper's Monday Lunchtime challenge sketch.

This is a masculine card and could be used for friendship, sympathy, or get well card. I used crumb cake, basic black, and whisper white.  The burlap ribbon added texture.  I used Stampin' Up!'s Serene Silhouettes stamp set and a retired set for the "thinking of you."

This second card was inspired by Splitcoast Stampers Color challenge.  The colors are melon mambo, wild wasabi, and basic gray. I used a retired set to create this card but it could be done with something current like the set used on the card above - Serene Silhouettes.

A Little Kindness

This is yet another card I made at my upline's house.  It uses Stampin' Up!'s Kinda Eclectic stamp set.  I can't wait to get that set!

Teacup Hello

This card was inspired by one done by Selene Kempton.  You can see her card  here.  It is made with retired Stampin' Up! stamps and embossing folder.

I think it will make a great friendship card!

Hello Circles

I find a lot of inspiration and great ideas on Pinterest.  The inspiration for this card also came from there and you can see the original here.

I used Pink Pirouette (SU!) and Whisper White (SU!) and a piece of retired dsp.  The hello came from Pennant Parade (retired SU!). I used Stampin' Up!'s paper piercing tool and templates around the edges of the circles.

Thanks for stopping by.

Hello Birds

This was such a simple card!  The dsp is retired from Stampin' Up!.  I simply stamped the "hello" from the Hi There stamp set (SU!)!  The cardstock colors are Early Espresso and So Saffron.  The smaller picture shows the inside.

Hey! S'up?

This card made me chuckle a little after I made it.  It just touched my funny bone.

I used the SU! stamp set called Hi There, and a bit of retired designer series paper.

Just a fun card to send off to someone that perhaps I haven't heard                                    from in awhile.

                                             Thanks for stopping by!

Grateful for a Friend

This card was inspired by a card you can see here.

I used Chalk Talk (SU!) stamps and framelits.  The embossing folder is also SU! but retired.

This will make a nice thank you card, friendship card, or maybe an anniversary card.

Thanks for stopping by!

Butterflies Hello

This card was inspired by another card I saw on Pinterest but the link wasn't one I could  use here, so I can't share the original. The colors are the same as the orginal, but my version differs by using the flowers and the Bitty Butterfly punch.

For my version of the card I used Marina Mist, Pink Pirouette, and Pear Pizzazz.  I used current Stampin' Up! stamp sets called Flower Shop, Four You, and Papillon Potpouri.  To embellish the butterflies on the front, I used little self adhesive pearls (SU!).

I think this would make a nice friendship card, encouragement card, or even get well card.

From the Retired Stash

This card is a design of my own done with retired stamps from Stampin' Up!

The card base is Basic Gray and I stamped hearts on it with versa mark ink.  I used the Chalk Talk framelits to cut out the shapes, and the main stamp is from Easy Events (Stampin' Up!).  I colored it in with colored pencils.

The smaller picture is the inside of the card.

Thanks for taking the time to look!

Friendship

This card is using the Stampin' Up! stamp set called Flower Shop. I stamped the flower on printed paper and punched it out with the matching punch.  I used a polka dot embossing folder for the background.  The sentiment comes in the stamp set called Chalk Talk (Stampin' Up!), and I inked it by hand to eliminate the oval that surrounds it.  The smaller picture shows the inside of the card. I like to "finish" the inside of the card, too. This card would be a nice thank you card or simple friendship card.  The inspiration for this card came from here.

Thank you for stopping by and taking a look at my work!

Happy Stamping!
