Soft Thank You

This card was inspired by the Color Throwdown Challenge.  The colors I used were basic gray, pear pizzazz, marina mist, and soft sky.  I used the flower image from Love and Sympathy, and a thank you image from Another Thank You.  I used the framelits from the Apothecary Accents set and the Ovals Collection set.

Mint Chocolate - Yum!

Today's card was made for two challenges:  Less is More and Sketch Saturday.  The Less is More challenge was to use a mint and a chocolate CHOCOLATE MINT color on a clean and simple card.  Here is the Sketch Saturday challenge:
I used Stampin' Up! products for this card.  The card stock is chocolate chip and pistachio pudding.  I used stamps from the Chalk Talk stamp set and cut them out with the matching framelits set and my large oval punch.  I used the Beautiful Wings embosslit to make the two small butterflies.  The entire focal image is on dimensionals, but you can't tell from the picture.
I think this would make a nice friendship or thank you card.

Friday Sunshine

This card is my entry into the Friday Mashup Challenge.  The challenge was to use the given sketch and use the emboss resist technique.  Here's the sketch:  .  I can't remember ever using the emboss resist technique on a card, so I decided to give it a try.  I used the Stampin' Up! stamp set Feel Goods; stamped it in versa mark and embossed it in clear on Whisper White card stock.  Then I sponged the center with Daffodil Delight and the outer of the oval in Pumpkin Pie.  I hope that gives the impression of the sun.  I used the Stylish Stripes embossing folder on the Daffodil Delight card stock and wrapped it in Daffodil Delight seam binding.  I think this would make a great friendship or thank you card.

Grateful for a Friend

This card was inspired by a card you can see here.

I used Chalk Talk (SU!) stamps and framelits.  The embossing folder is also SU! but retired.

This will make a nice thank you card, friendship card, or maybe an anniversary card.

Thanks for stopping by!

Butterflies Hello

This card was inspired by another card I saw on Pinterest but the link wasn't one I could  use here, so I can't share the original. The colors are the same as the orginal, but my version differs by using the flowers and the Bitty Butterfly punch.

For my version of the card I used Marina Mist, Pink Pirouette, and Pear Pizzazz.  I used current Stampin' Up! stamp sets called Flower Shop, Four You, and Papillon Potpouri.  To embellish the butterflies on the front, I used little self adhesive pearls (SU!).

I think this would make a nice friendship card, encouragement card, or even get well card.

Friendship

This card is using the Stampin' Up! stamp set called Flower Shop. I stamped the flower on printed paper and punched it out with the matching punch.  I used a polka dot embossing folder for the background.  The sentiment comes in the stamp set called Chalk Talk (Stampin' Up!), and I inked it by hand to eliminate the oval that surrounds it.  The smaller picture shows the inside of the card. I like to "finish" the inside of the card, too. This card would be a nice thank you card or simple friendship card.  The inspiration for this card came from here.

Thank you for stopping by and taking a look at my work!

Happy Stamping!
