Two Card Challenges

I enjoy the inspiration provided by a card challenge.  It can be a sketch or it can be a color combination; it doesn't matter to me.
This card was inspired by Techno Stamper's Monday Lunchtime challenge sketch.

This is a masculine card and could be used for friendship, sympathy, or get well card. I used crumb cake, basic black, and whisper white.  The burlap ribbon added texture.  I used Stampin' Up!'s Serene Silhouettes stamp set and a retired set for the "thinking of you."

This second card was inspired by Splitcoast Stampers Color challenge.  The colors are melon mambo, wild wasabi, and basic gray. I used a retired set to create this card but it could be done with something current like the set used on the card above - Serene Silhouettes.

Thanks for stopping by.
Happy Stamping,

  1. Two beautiful cards and love what you did with this weeks Monday Lunchtime sketch.

  2. Super cards. Both of them. I really love the one for my sketch challenge--the burlap is a great touch. This is such a great stamp set and your have created two great cards to show that fact off. Thanks so much for playing along with my sketch challenge this week!

  3. Oh Pam, I really love both cards they are gorgeous!
